Cara Colvard Pope, MD, FAAP

Dr. Pope received her B.S. in Chemistry from Shorter University in Rome, GA in 2010 and her MD from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2014.  She completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Louisville (Norton Children's Hospital) in 2017 and joined Infants' and Children's Clinic in 2017.  She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and participates in Maintenance of Certification.  Dr. Pope and her husband Caleb have two daughters, Elizabeth and  Amelia.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend for all children, both healthy and with high risk conditions, ages 6 months to 18 years be vaccinated.
